In Antwerp, Royal Academy of Fine Arts Students Wear Their Art to Class

The style department at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp is unquestionably among the most prestigious fashion design applications on earth.

I am being directed and pushed, however, at precisely the same time, place free to do what I never believed I would be able to perform.

What are a few challenges of performing coursework remotely?

It was hard to feel enthused in my work. I’m quite analog, therefore designing the camera doesn’t interest me.

I am wearing a navy blue double-breasted match with a white ruched jabot shirt, white and black straight-leg pants, and a set of white leather boots.

What do you love in your college?

Antwerp Academy is filled with heritage and history, and it has cultivated excellent artists and designers while still preserving heritage and craftsmanship.

What are a few challenges of performing coursework remotely?

With electronic demonstrations, people can not feel that feeling of any cloth, as the style demands physical contact. I believe we’ll figure it out one day, however.

What tune sums up your 2020?

I am wearing a white coat which I made for a mission sometime before, a black pleated skirt made from cloth scraps, asymmetrical earrings, plus a thrifted long black jacket.

What do you love in your college?

That I really like the freedom of artistic expression, together with the comprehension approach of the instructors.

What are a few challenges of performing coursework remotely?

Obtaining substances, as non-essential vendors like cloth and stationery shops were shut.

My whole year can be summed up using only a single tune: K by Cigarettes Following Sex.

I am sporting an Ann Demeulemeester coat, a long black shirt, classic menswear pants I shifted myself black heels. I enjoy blending menswear and womenswear, which you might also view in my job. It is all about contrasts.
